WDYT

I'm finding myself liking the name Caspian for a boy more and more. Obviously associated with Prince Caspian and the Caspian Sea, I think the name is unique enough to make my list while still having connections that are masculine. Thoughts on using as a first name or mn?

I love it with or without the association. I just think it's a great name.

I actually really like it. I think for pop culture reasons, I'd use it as a middle name, but if you don't plan on having kids for a while, the hype surrounding the movies will die down and it'd be fine as a first name, too.

Love the name; it's on my own list! I'd go with it. I can't see Caspian becoming a trendy/popular name, even with the recent Chronicles of Narnia movie.

I really like it as well, and I think it could work well both as a first or a middle name.

hm, not sure about that but this may be related to my background. ot reminds me of kasper which, in german, is slang for something like a clown/someone who clowns around. if you have no relation to the german language that obviously wouldn't be a concern. :]

My SO has a WoW character named Khaspian, partly after the Narnia thing.
Although his is quite a kr8vv spelling, I have to say I like the K in this case better than the C (c looks too soft in this name)

I think it's a great name-unique and strong. I'd use it for either first or middle.

One of the few times I'll swing with everybody here and say that I love it, pretty much unconditionally.

I like it. I think that I like it more because of the associations with Prince Caspian, but it's nice. First or middle.

Love it. It's been on my list for years! Prince Caspian is one of my all time favourite books!

I'm surprised, but I actually like it enough to say it'd be a good first name, even though it's really not my style, it's really nice.

I'm really not a fan of C-names for boys, but Caspian isn't bad. I'd say use it as a middle name.

i guess it's not a horrible name, but i wouldn't use it at all.

I loved it, my husband couldn't get past the Narnia association so it got nixed.
