How did you come up with your names? Did you brainstorm your child's name while pregnant, or have you had your favorites since you were young? If you've had subsequent pregnancies, did you 'save' the names you didn't use your first pregnancy for later use or did you drop those and come up with all new names? Did you think you'd use them and end up not?
I'm just curious, TTC #2 myself, but thought this might be fun to answer as well.
Thanks! :D

I had some names that I liked growing up, but scratched most of them. The only ones that stayed on the list were Lilly and Eliza (just couldn't get my husband to go for Antigone ;) ). The name we ended up using we came up with during the pregnancy. We decided we were fairly certain on the name a few weeks before her (premature) birth and then for sure (obviously) after the birth. We did change things up and where we had planned her first name to be Brenna and her middle name Rose, decided that we wanted to give her the middle name Sherman after my recently deceased cat. We decided to make her first name Brenna Rose, but I hate hyphenated names so we just gave her the two first names. We called her both Brenna and Brenna Rose.
We've kept some of our names from our list from the first pregnancy, however we now have a lot more boys' name on our lists and have all but decided against our original and only boys' favorite from the first pregnancy. I'm also more open to my husband's favorite girl's name that he's loved since childhood-- I told him if our next daughter is blond we can definitely use Alice :). We've also come up with the name that we'll most likely use for our next daughter (should she not be blond.. actually just kind of a toss up between the two). We've also decided not to hyphenate our future children's last names, a change from what we did our first child. I actually worry that once we finally conceive we'll want to scrap all of our current favorites! :(
