Can anyone think of a full name for Hallie? On babynames.com it's Hallelujah which is so gross for a baby name.

I would like it to include Hal.

Thanks guys.

Yeah do not listen to babynames.com, their owners are full of shit. They'd probably also say Halliburton was a full name for it too.

Haley/Hallie is a full name by itself.

Hal is usually a nickname for Henry/Harry... so I think Hallie or Hal as a nickname for Harriet/Henrietta works.

There is a Dutch actress called Halina (Haleenah), I've always quite liked that.

I came up with this and I offer it proudly:
how about Hallow? it's a verb that means "to make holy or sacred, to sanctify or consecrate, to venerate"

As in "hallowed be thy name.." (Holy Father prayer)

I could also suggest Halloween, due to my fascination with it, but it might not be your style :P

I did want to suggest Harlow initially, but then it doesn't include Hal.

I always wanted to have a named that I loved with a Halloween-esque ring to it (something normal enough to be a name but not quite Autumn either). ANy suggestions?

I'm just going to be over here in the corner ashamed at the fact that I like Hallelujah as a middle name.

I love the name Hallie. I think it's great all by itself.

You could always play off the 'AL' sound... even though you said you wanted it to include 'Hal' who knows maybe you'll fall in love!

Allison

or, Hazel?
