Date: 2008-08-10 05:09 pm (UTC)I actually really don't like any of these names, but if I had to pick one I'd go with Donna. Donna Arella sounds good, I think.
My favorite D names are Diana & Dolores.

Date: 2008-08-10 05:31 pm (UTC)Re: Datiyah: Hebrew Names
Date: 2008-08-13 07:38 pm (UTC)The issue is that in Hebrew, especially for names, the syllables can have very distinct meanings, so names can be easily constructed (um, fabricated) based on what you want them to say. This isn't necessarily a criticism, but it's an issue with websites that claim to have Hebrew names.
There are some fantastic names out there-- and I'm currently dealing with the same issues myself!-- so good luck.

Date: 2008-08-10 08:06 pm (UTC)Dinah is pronounced like DYE-nah. If you want it pronounced DEE-nah, spell it Deenah or Dina.

Date: 2008-08-10 08:17 pm (UTC)Dinah is pronounced Dee-nah in it's original Hebrew and I tend to go with traditional spellings and pronounciations - but as it's likely to cause confusion I'll probably drop it from my list.
