What do people think of food based names and have you heard any in real life that aren't the norm?

I went to school with three sisters named Apples, Orange and Peaches and i never thought it was a big deal.

I like Honey and Poppy but maybe just as (short-lived) nick names? Any others out there?

i used to babysit for these kids and their mom's name was plummy.

i don't know if it was a nickname for something else though...but i thought it was cute.

No I don't know if I could name my child something food related either. Do you have any names picked out yet?

Cokie (i.e. Cokie Roberts, newsperson) isn't really a food, but it sound like Coke. I like the sound of it, just to repeat it until I get sick of it. But I couldn't use it as a name. Poppy is fun to say, too.

I went to school with a Cherry. I've also known Brandy's and Sherry's (drinks count?) I've known Cayenne and Candy and Ginger.

There's a Dulce at the school I work at now...that's Spanish for "Sweet".

There's Pam. Ha ha haaa, the spray stuff. :)

People seem to have an obsession with Bree (brie), Colby, Jack, and Monterrey. Why not throw Chedder and Mozzi in there for good measure.

I went to high school with a Vodka. But my personal faves have to be Orangejello (Uh-ron-zuh-low) and Lemonjello (Luh-mon-zuh-low).

I like Peaches and Apple.. but only combinated with a middle name that is no food.
For example: Apple Elizabeth.

I think it sounds cute then.
But I think it is a bit too crazy when all of your kids have food names.. it's just over the top.

Brie- My mum's friends daughter.. i think it's stupid.
Cherry- Friend Sophie's sister. Not a fan.
