[identity profile] laminy.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
So, Clay Aiken and friend Jaymes Foster have gone and had their baby today. A boy, named Parker Foster Aiken.

I don't really like it. If they always planned on using her maiden name for the middle name, then I think that they should've found a first name that sounded a little different.

WDYT?

I think Foster is part of his last name, not his middle name.

I'm not too fond of it, 3 names all with 2 syllables, 2 of them ending in the same sound. It just doesn't flow at all.

It's fairly normal for a celeb baby, but I don't think it flows well.

They could have done worse, but a a 1 syllable name would have flowed better.
I'm most confused about the last name. I guess I was under the impression that Aiken was pretty much just a sperm donor, in which case it seems more appropriate to use the mom's last name.
Parker Clay Foster would have been a better choice.

I would have hyphenated the last names and had them be the last name.

The Aiken family is interesting, to say the least.

I don't like how Parker Foster sounds. They end in the same sound and it just doesn't flow. For a celebrity baby name, though, pretty good.

Parker Aiken. HAHAHAHAHA

Horrible combination of names. I like the name Parker, but in this situation it just sounds amazingly stupid.
