Unfortunately, this is no word of a lie....

This girl I know worked with a girl who was expecting her second child. Her son's name was Byron, which is not my style, but a perfectly acceptable name. My friend asked her what her name ideas were, and she said that the baby was going to be named Byray either sex.

My friend asked her why....

The first child was By Ron. The second was By Ray. How horrible grossly tacky.

According to your OP you knew someone who said they knew someone. That's how urban legends are always reported - secondhand. "My friend's mom is a nurse who said they had twins named Lemonjello and Oranjello..." "My cousin's friend is a teacher and she once had a student named Shithead."

I'm not saying you're lying about what your friend told you. I'm just saying it smells like an urban legend from my POV.
