they don't have too, but I believe there is such a thing as coherency putting together a name.

Examples: Polly Amara or Rose Emerson or Peter Lorenzo.. I could go on.

Yeah, I feel the same way about it feeling like a bad porn film. There's a city called Jasper about an hour from where I live which has become notorious for being the location where John King and two other white guys dragged James Byrd Jr. (a black guy) to his death. So, I totally picture it as a bad white supremacist version of porn. It's a terrible association, really.

I do like the sound of it, but I just don't think I could go there.

It's a color. Reminds me of Wicked, Elphaba especially. She was (literally) green and wore nothing but black.

Untill Twilight came along my association of Jasper was like down south hickville but now I'm being swayed by the sexy vampire image I think.

Anyway I think if Night were spelled Knight it would be awesome.

I kinda like Knight too but my husband didn't like it at all; I just want something that would kinda match my daughter's name...her name is Abbey Rain; so I'm trying to find another nature name..thanks for the opinions. The goth gay comment made me laugh btw :D
