Hi all, I'm a newbie here. My fiance and I are TTC, and about to take a pregnancy test on Saturday. We pretty much agree on names for the ba, whenever it may come. The baby's last name will be Scott. The boy name we've picked out that we both absolutely love is Connor Jaxon. The girl name has been a little more difficult. We both love the name Holly, but can't really agree on a middle name. He likes Nicole, which is okay, and I love Elizabeth, which he thinks is just okay. Any thoughts?

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and introduce myself. I'm Jen, and I live with my fiance in Missouri. *waves*

Have a great night. Gotta love insomnia. :)

I agree, I'm not a fan of Jackson either. Plus, I love names with Xs, they look so...epic.

I'm reading the others' comments about the spelling of Jaxon being a rip off of Jackson so maybe you can spell it Jaxen to get the same sound but take it a step away from Jackson.

Please please please spell it Jackson.

I'd go with Holly Elizabeth, but either is nice.

I don't like Jaxon at all.

jaxon looks like a cleaning product, jackson looks like a name. i'd go with jackson.

elizabeth and nicole are both typical middle names, i think nicole flows a little better.

Love Holly Nicole... Nicole is my middle name so I'm sort of partial :o).

Connor Jaxon is awesome because it's unique but masculine. Holly, Nicole and Elizabeth are all on my NO list because they are SO played and old-sounding. Since you settled on such a great boys name I expected something a little more original from your girls' selection.

... Unique?

Connor. (http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager#prefix=CONNOR&ms=false&sw=f&exact=false)

Jackson. (http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager#prefix=JACKSON&ms=false&sw=f&exact=false)

Spelling Jackson weirdly doesn't make it sound different to anybody who hears it, and only means it'll have to be spelled out for the rest of kiddo's life.

Even then, though, recent people looking for alternatives to Jackson have seized upon the alternate spelling: Jaxon (http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager#prefix=JAXON&ms=false&sw=f&exact=false).

But Holly, Nicole, and Elizabeth are all nice.

I can't for the life of my imagine a grown up Connor. Grandpa Connor? I just don't see it. It seems so...childish. I like Jaxon, but spelled Jackson. When it's spelled Jaxon, it just looks like you're trying too hard:\
Holly is a nice name, I'm not that fond of it myself, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it.
Anyway, good luck! I hope the preggers test turns out well<3
