My cousin is having a little girl 2 months before I'm due. (she's due in September, I'm having a boy in November). I just got the invitation to her baby shower today which revealed her baby name.

Hayslee Diane

I at least give her credit because she's a few steps ahead of me in the picking out names department...for reference, Diane is my Aunt's middle name--she died 4 years ago and the baby is due on her birthday.

Also, still looking for "unique" names to go with the middle name MARK. So if any of you have suggestions, I'm all for 'em at this point.

i have no idea. she lives in the middle of nowhere. perhaps its some strange cowgirl name thing?

its hard to define unique..my name is Andra. I've never really met another one of me. I like that. but i also like that my name isn't atrocious or anything. I'm looking for a name that not a lot of people have, but isn't repulsive or based on a WoW character. :(

Hayslee. Very...interesting. Like the middle name and personal meaning that it has though.

Unique (recognisable but unusual) names to go with Mark...I find Mark a bit harsh, so I think it would need a longer (syllable wise), softer first name to balance it.

Hayslee has a pretty sound to it, but reminds me too much of paisley. Plus, as someone else said, it sounds like someone with a lisp having trouble saying "Hayley." I do love the name Diane, though.

besides, mark will be the middle name. not something that is used every day. i don't know about you---but only a small handful of people know my middle name at all.

Oh no, it's not a criticism. I actually think it's kind of cool (but that may be because I'm a science geek). I agree though, since it's a middle name most people won't even hear it and it's more important to honor someone who meant a lot to you. And hey, at least it's a cool element instead of like, Boron or something.

hahaha. well, until you said anything i didn't even think about it. and then it made me laugh so much because my grandpa keeps telling me to name my kid MERCURY because that was his nickname growing up (because he ran so fast)....i can now go back and tell him he already named one of his kids mercury. hahaha.

Hayslee is cute and I like that it is spelled just as it sounds so the child won't have people stumbling over it for her entire life. Diane on the other hand...yuuuchhh.

I don't like Hayslee.
I would prefer Haley or Hadley.
And I really don't like y's in the middle of names, I think it looks tacky, but I can't really figure out how else you could spell it that would convey the long a, maybe Haislee? I don't know, I still don't like it, heh...

But Diane is nice and I love sentimental value to middle names.

Hmm. I really don't care for Hayslee--I think that most people will end up thinking it's a typo of Haylee and call her that. :/
