Today I worked with a girl name Raydina. "Ray-deen-uh".
I hate it, but I always hate Ray on girls.

She has two daughters, Madalynn and Mackenzie.
I know those are the spellings because they were tattooed on her leg, haha.
I like Madeline okay, but not Madalynn, and Mad- names are too popular these days so I wouldn't use one, but Ray's kid is eleven.
Mackenzie I've always hated, but at least it's on a girl which is better imo, and at least it's spelled right.

I would agree with you if it was a boyfriend/ex-boyfriend's name, but I think it's a little different when it's your kids. My dad has my sisters' and my name on his back.

Well Madeline and Madalynn are two completely different names. Madeline is said Mad-uh-line (as in walk the line) whereas Madalynn is said Mad-uh-lin (rhyming with tin). I agree that the "mad" names are too played anyway.

I think Madeline can be pronounced either way, based on people that I've known, but that's just my opinion.
