Beatrix.. Who woulda thought?

The other day, Beatrix Potter was featured on google for her birthday. I noticed- what an amazing name!! My friend's name is Bianca and I love calling her B for short. I doubt I would use Beatrix as a first name, but I think it definitely flow as a middle name. WDYT?

Beatrix, for me, is too close to Bellatrix (as in LaStrange, evil witch from Harry Potter). But I LOVE Bianca. Do you mind if I ask what is Bianca's ethnicity?

I like Beatrix. I like Beatrice better, but I definitely like the Beatrix Potter connotations! :oD I think Bee would be a cute nickname. I would consider using it as a first name, but I can see it sounding good (as a middle name) with a lot of first names...
