Suggestions?
Feb. 26th, 2006 12:43 amMy brother and his girlfriend are expecting (she's only about two months along), and I absolutely hate most of the names she has picked out. I've been trying to throw my two cents in, but she doesn't like the traditional-ish names I've passed her way (Chloe, Emma, Hannah) either. The first two names she'd told me she was thinking about were Neveah (I hate this name) and Irelan (not sure if that's how she'd spell it... she said "Ireland, but without the 'd.' But I don't know if you'd make it "prettier" by spelling it Irelynn or something). Oh, and she's certain that it'll be a girl, and I'm hoping it'll be a girl, haha.
They already have two... a boy, Dominick Anthony, and a girl, Lilliana Rae (Lily).
I think they should have something that's also around the same number of letters or syllables. I don't think that with a Dominick and a Lilliana you could then have something super-simple like a Kate. For a girl, the middle name is apparently going to be Mena, after my brother's gf's grandmother. And for a boy, I'm betting a middle name would be either Michael (for my brother) or William (for my father). So yeah, I guess any suggestions of names that would sound nice with the other two kids' names, and possibly with the middle names that are floating around. And please make them semi-normal names. I hate trendy names, but I don't like way obscure stuff either, and I think they feel the same way.

Date: 2006-03-01 01:34 pm (UTC)I don't think you need to match siblings names. My name is Kristen and my sisters are Kari and Heather, no one is like OMG KARI IS SO MUCH SHORTER THAN KRISTEN AND HEATHER. No one cares and I doubt anyone is comparing.
