Based on an earlier chat room conversation...

We were talking baby names, and I brought up my choices for my future kids (2 boys' names, 2 girls' names):

Girls were Charity Faith and Serenity Hope
Boys were Aidan Michael and Quentin Nicholas (or Nickolas, IDK which spelling I wanna use)

Thoughts?

Edit: I realize Michael is a really common boy's middle name, but flow is a pretty big deal with me, probably the biggest. If you have any other names that work with the first name Aidan, I'll consider them. :)

Second edit: And it's been kindly pointed out to me that Charity Faith and Serenity Hope are kinda overkill of a theme, so suggestions of middle names for them too? (I'd like to keep the first names, I'm a big fan of name themes. My sisters and I have a pseudo one.)

Third edit: Is Serenity Celeste still overkill? (I won't do Charity Celeste because of the alliteration)

The girl names have too strong of a theme and it's a bit of an over kill of the virtrues/word element. Indiviually none are my style.

The boy names both sets are good combos, but like you said extremly common. Aidan Nicholas and Quentin Michael might work a bit better.

Yeah I realize that, and I'm easily swayed on different middle names for the girl's names, but I'm kinda attached to Charity and Serenity.

I'd use Aidan James. My biological father is Andrew James and the man that raised me is Robert James (so, obviously, I like Aidan Robert too). The others I'm not fond of.

I like the name Micheal as a middle name. It seriously fits with just about any first name. If I were having a boy instead of a girl, he would be Shea Micheal. =]

Yeah, so does everyone else XD It's kind of a filler middle name.

Yeah I wasn't thinking about that when I typed it. Maybe alliteration wasn't the right word. It's the double initial (CC) I was thinking of that bugs me.

I'm hoping, since kids are a few years off, that the -den craze will have passed by the time I start XD

I hate both the girl names, sorry. They're truly awful.

Aidan Michael is overused, but nice. Quentin isn't my style, but it's okay, and I like the sound of Quentin Nicholas.

If you're worried about Michael being common, don't use Aidan! It's the most popular name out there! Not to mention the dozens of names that rhyme with it...

Quentin isn't really my style, but it's okay, and Quentin Nicholas flows well.

I really don't like Charity and Serenity, to be honest... they seem kind of like trailer trash names, like Trinity and Destiny. And with middle names like Faith, Hope, and Celeste, they're even more tacky. :-\

Like I mentioned about about Aidan, I'm hoping by the time I have kids (It's at least another two or three years off), that craze will have died down.

I'm not dead set on those middle names.

I like Serenity and Hope, but not together. I would like these two better as a sibset than Serenity and Charity. Serenity Celeste is pretty, however it is an alliteration as well, and bothers me more than Charity Celeste.

Yeah, like I said, the alliteration wasn't the right word. I'm bothered by the CC initial of Charity Celeste. I'm also kinda iffy about using one syllable names as first names, because I have a hard time thinking of middle names that keep the flow.
