My twin cousins, who turn seven tomorrow, are here, and I was remember how weird I thought their names where then they were born.

Zebulin Isaac [? i think that's how they spell it...]
Zachery Adam

If it's spelled Zebulon, that's my FAVORITE boy name.

I know, I'm weird.

It's an "o" in every Scripture translation I've ever seen, and that's where the name came from originally. One of Jacob's sons. That doesn't mean your aunt and uncle didn't spell it differently, though.

I've seen Zebulon, it's the name of a city here in Georgia... I've never seen it used as a name or spelled that way, though.

Isaac and Adam are okay, and Zachary spelled that way. Zachery always makes me want to say Za-Cherry.

Agreed. Zachary has to be spelled as such.

Also, are they very religious? All of those names are religiously significant in Christianity (Adam is obvious, Isaac too, but Zebulon was one of the children of Jacob and Zachary was the father of John the Baptist) and don't have a whole ton of other stuff in common.

Zebulin/Zebulon just makes me think of Zebulon Pike. It's not a bad name or anything... I just feel the urge to say "Pike" after it.

Poor Zebulin/Zebulon/however it's spelled. Imo, that's awful. Isaac is okay, and Zachary and Adam are great.

Yeah, I think Zachary got the better deal out of the two of them (:

Love all but Zebulin. And as I said above, Zachary has to be spelled with an "a"

Reminds me though, when I was, like, 12 and seriously into Hanson, I wanted to marry a guy who's last name was Taylor and name my first born son Zachary Isaac, without thinking of the after effects of his hypothetical initials. I am so glad I got out of that phase.
