I was doing the dishes and the tv was on and some infomercial came on before I could change the channel for some sort of hair product. One of the guests that just SWORE by the product was introduced and her name was Miracle.

I am sure people have heard this before, but I hadn't. I had to do a double take and I asked my husband if I had heard that guy correctly. Sure enough! I just could not help but giggle.

What a terrible name.

Plus, I don't think I ever posted this. I have a cousin named Sunshine. I guess it never struck me as odd since I grew up with it, but it is an odd one too. Heh!

Hehe. Both of those are rather unfortunate.

But I really like Milagro(s), which means Miracle! (Although, not being of Hispanic origin, I would not use it myself.)

I kinda like Milagro too. I would call her Mila for short, which I like that name anyway and it sounds Russian, Mila that is, hehe.

My mum's friend named her daughter Devon-Storm. As in a storm in the country of Devon. They call her Dev for short. She'd be ... nearly nine now. I personally never liked this.

My mother seriously considered naming me Moonbeam or Sunshine...
