Lorna.
I've encountered it recently, and the more I hear it, the more I fall in love with it. It might be creeping up toward my top favorite names.

Also,
Kaelyn
or
Kaylin.
For a girl. Which spelling do you prefer? For the record, I prefer the first. It's another one that's been growing on me lately.

Wdyt?

I don't like Lorna or Kaelyn/Kaylin. I knew a girl who spelled it Kalin, which I find a little bit better, and probably only because I'm used to it. I would probably spell it Kaylin if I had to choose.

Lorna has made its way into my top 10 recently, too. My only problem is the fact that it makes a lot of people think of cookies. Delicious cookies. Delicious cookies that are in my desk right now.

I prefer Kaelyn, but I'd have a preference if it weren't the name of one of my nieces. Her full name is Kaelyn Marie, because my mother's middle name is Kay, my sister's middle name is Lynn, and my middle name is Marie.

not a fan of Lorna.
I went to high school with a girl named Kaelin, and I like her spelling.

I know a Lorna, wonderful girl! She's from England though and tends to pronounce her name as Lawn-ah, which turns me off of it. As for Kaylin/Kaelyn, I'm not a fan. I always want to say it Kale-in instead of Kay-lyn and that sounds ugly to me.

Lorna reminds me of Lorna Jane, which is a pretty well known womens' sports clothing store here in Australia. So it's a bit hard to form an opinion of it, but I think I like it if I ignore the association. Laura is one of my favourite names and it's kind of similar, so I think I like Lorna.

I actually think I prefer Kaelyn to Kaylin which surprises me because I usually don't like "ae" in names.

My mom's name is Lorna Jane! that's funny. As a result, I'm not too crazy about Lorna, to me it sounds... nasal: LOR-naah! Not a fan. But I love Kaelyn, what a pretty name.

my best friend is having a baby this december and if she's having a girl, her name will be kaylyn. I'm not sure which spelling I prefer.

I love the name Kaelyn, only with that spelling.

I don't like the name Kaylin fullstop. But if I had to pick a spelling, I'd go with the Y over the E.

I like Lorna and I know of one. I just can't remember if it's a distant relative I know with that name, or a friend of a relative, haha.

Love Lorna, hate Kaylin/Kaelin/Kaeyelieyn in all its incarnations. Too wishy-washy.
