I have a Hannah and plan to name my next girl (should we have one) Leah or Julia. :)

I also like Abigail, Delilah, Eve, Joy, Miriam, Rachel, and Sarah.

The only one on that list I don't like is Hagar.

I feel the same way as you- Jezebel has been one of my favorite names since I was a kid, but I could never use it.

I quite like Delilah and Jezebel too lol. The thing is that I'm not sure if it's the case with these names, but I know in the ancient world a lot of the time they used names that actually meant something about that person, so their name might change throughout their life. So it's likely that a person in the Bible who was a bad character has a name that means something bad. So even trying to overlook the Bible character, you could still end up with a name with a bad meaning. Again I'm not sure what Jezebel or Delilah actually mean though.

I love the biblical spelling of Rebekah. And I also like Phoebe, Rachel (spelt Rachael - it's my sister's name so I'm biased), Leah, Ruth, Hannah, Elizabeth, Dinah and Abigail.

Of this list, I like: Elizabeth/Elisheva, Esther, Eve/Chava, Hannah, Leah, Miriam, Naomi, Rebekah, Ruth, Sarah

My favorite Biblical female names would be: Serach, Naamah, Keturah, Moriah (place name, but I like it for a girl), Vashti, Shifra, Rahab and Salome (not not for the Biblical reference, but for the reference to the Queen with the same name).
