I seem to over-think on names. The more I think about them, the less I like them.
What peeves me off is most of the names I like end in -ian/-ien/-an and my hopeful future last name ends in -ian. So it would sound stupid.
I also hate that my favorite girls name is Lilah and he's already got a Lilyahna. And my favorite boys name is Julian, and his daughter's sister is Julia, so I can't use it.
I used to like the name Ava a lot, as well as Lillian, but then I ran into ten million mini Avas and Lilys at my work and both name just kind of irritate me now.
I used to hate both Aurelia and Elizabeth, but they are growing on me. Also, for boys, the name Harry skeeved me out at one point, but I'm really starting to like it as a casual nickname for Henry. Oh! And the name Rachel, I used to hate it, but after moving to the east coast it has been really growing on me. :)
I loved Julian until I discovered Julius, and now the former seems like a sad, pathetic imitation of a name, since all I can think now of it is "adjective".
Julian calender, Julian Alps... why not go for the gold and name your child after the man who gave the world the adjective?
I used to love: Tiffany Pacey Joshua Henry William Jailee Jasmine Bryson Bridget
Now I really don't care for any of them. I used to really dislike Isabella until my boyfriend told me he really liked it. It's taken three years but now I really adoreit and is now my favourite name!
when i was a kid, i LOVED the names april, keisha and leila. when i was a teenager, my favorite names were eva and carmen.
more recently, i used to adore the names charlotte and hannah, those were probably my two favorite girls names. now i hear them everywhere so theyve been ruined for me. i dont hate them now, i just know i would never use them.
i used to really dislike every variation of anne/anna/annie, and now anna and annabelle are two of my favorite names.
my boys names havent changed much. max and oliver are my top two, and have been for quite some time.
Based on my hand-writing, this would be about 3 years ago (when I was 16): Astra, Claire (my aunt Claire has since ruined the name), Tiara/Tara, Prima, Irena, Tacey, Pandora, Robin, Darcy, Danielle, Elise, Nova, Caprice, Morgan, Veronica.
I used to love Amelia and Nicole, and now I hate them.
I used to hate Kaley but now I love it. I think I was being close minded just because it was trendy, and I didn't look past the trendiness at the actual name.
Also, I used to love Shea on boys and hated it as a girl's name, but I just spent a week at camp with a girl named Shea so now I only see it as a girl's name and I like it that way.
I really liked Braeden, back before all those names were so popular, but I could never, ever use it now. I am kind of ashamed though about one thing: I liked it for a girl.

That's not all of them, but I can't find the HUGE list I made when I was 14.
