WWE wrestler randy orton and his wife Samantha had a little girl on friday named Alanna Marie Orton.

I quite like it. But I prefer Alanis.

I really don't like any feminine "Alan" names. I don't like Alanna (or Ilana, for that matter), Alanis, or Alaine/Elaine. Marie is a pretty name, but it's SO over-used.

I wonder how they pronounce Alanna. A-LAH-nah Marie sounds nicer to me than Ah-LAY-nah Marie, but I've known people with the name prn both ways. In any case, it's nice for anyone celeb or not. I love Marie, as it's a family name and I will be using it on a child eventually despite its popularity.
