I just found out that my boyfriend's boss, Jes, is actually named Jester. He's a forty-something bloke. I think it's completely ridiculous, WDYT?

That's the name of my friend's one-eyed cat!

Who looks at their baby and wants to name him, basically, joker or fool?

As far as noun names go, Jester isn't that bad-sounding. If it weren't for the meaning, I think I'd kinda dig it. At least he's not Clown or Goofball!

Hehe, that's a fair point...unfortunately the meaning is too silly for me to get past!

Yeah, and I mean at least his parents were intelligent enough to know what a jester was.

You know I kind of like it. But I would never actually put it on a human being. I would name a cat Jester though.
