Kids will change that to "maggot" and that's not cool.

It's pronounced "margo." So, I dunno, it's possible. I had a friend named Margot, though, and nobody seemed to make that connection. I guess because no one ever really saw it written down (camp friend).

Every single Margot I have ever met has been a camp friend. It's like only camp kids are called Margot. Same with Gillian. I've never met a Gillian in the city.

I love the name Margot Claire.

HOLY SHIT I TOTALLY HAD A CAMP FRIEND NAMED GILLIAN.

I swear. I'm not even kidding. Same camp, but different year I think.

I should add that, like Margot, only Gillian I've ever met.

You may be onto something.

The only Gillian I've ever met was at camp too! (Though I do know some Jillians outside of camp, but I don't think that counts.)

I like both names a lot (I prefer Margo) but I putting them together is NMS.

I read too much "Baby-Sitter's Club". I can't decide if this is awesome or terrible.

For those of you who spent your childhoods outside, Margo and Claire were the younger sisters of Mallory, one of the baby-sitters of the series' title.

Whoa, how did I not make this connection?

I never liked either of those kids hehe.

I was totally thinking that, but I let someone else say it so I wouldn't be the only nerd :P

Love Margot and Claire separately, together not so much. Still gave it an 8 lol.

I don't like either name separately, so I gave it a solid three.

I gave it an 8 because Claire is my number one favorite name for girls and I think it sounds nice with Margot.

I gave it an 8, I really like it but Margaret Clare looks better to me.

I love Claire.

I know a girl who spells it Margeau, and another who spells it Margeaux (she's from France), and I don't really like the name but I like those spellings better. Love Claire.
