yeah Linus was one of the first names that stood out too! I also knew Dennis would be on there but Dennis is my dad (who is nothing like a menace!) so I will always equate that name with dear ol' dad.
Not really. There are different media (book, strip, novel). The art form is the same--comic. The superheroes started out as strips, and comic strips such as Garfield etc., are collected in books too.
