Okay, so last night's poll was fun, and it was interesting to note that the people in this community don't like some of those names near as much as the general populace seems to. So, tonight, we get to look at boys names. These are the top 10 baby boy names for 2004 in the US, according to this site:

Oh, and the poll for the girl's names is located at http://www.livejournal.com/poll/?id=674115, if you want to see the results for that poll.
Vote away!
[Poll #674799]
I was actually surprised to see Joshua up so high. That's my brother's name (and my nephew's, as he's a Jr.) and while I knew it was popular, I didn't think it was that popular! Luckily my nephew goes by Jace so he won't be "Josh M." or anything like that.

Christopher
Matthew
Joshua
&
Jacob.
I voted for Christopher because I have liked this name for the longest.

I love the name william (it's the only family name I love) and plan on using it someday, but as a middle name.

I know it's common, but I don't think I've known many Josephs who actually get called Joseph, they're all Joe. Joseph is only two syllables, it doesn't need to be shortened to Joe permanently, so yeah.. I think it's good (although I think I liked it too much and got a bit sick of it...)... why do other people not like it? I'm interested.

I love the name Jacob, though! I'd use it in a heartbeat if it wasn't so popular.
