Opinions?
I had a good friend growing up named Ashra. Her parent pronounced it "Ahj-ra" if that makes sense (think Azure), but we pronouced it ASH-ra. Now that I think back, I really do love that name. It is so unique, sounds good however you pronouce it, and it is original yet still familiar with the Ashley/Ashlyn correlation. What do you guys think? I may use it, I dunno yet. I ended up not liking her in the long run even though our parents are still friends, so I don't want her to think I'm honoring her in some way, lol.

If you're really worried she'll think you're honoring her or something, maybe you could use it as a mn?

Haha... that cracks me up!
I like Ashra (pronounced ASH-ra) it's cute, unique, and easy to spell & pronounce.
Is Ashlyn a girl or boy or unisex name? I like it, but am not sure which gender it is for. (Initially I thought boy.)

When I was very small I had a friend called Asha. I love that name too.
