Did you leave out the accent?.. it's cool. Does it mean "heard"? ... love the french names.

Sounds lovely, but spelling it for life would be a bitch.

I really don't know :/
I know it's the original french spelling, which is fine, but people who don't speak french wouldn't have a clue.

"Can I have your name?"
"Aure."
"can you spell that?"

Hell, my name's Nikki and I have to spell it everytime I say it :p

You might want to spell it with the accent so it actually gives the right pronunciation. Without the accent, it's not the original French spelling at all.

It's pretty, but meh.

(At first I thought it was two names, Aure and Prn O-Ray, and I was going to stab you.)

Also, I think I like it pronounced more like "oar," or like the beginning of "aura."

I like it. You may want to write it with an accent over the "e" just to let people know it's stressed, but that might look a little odd.

Not if that's the way it's pronounced. If it was more like or-rae then sure, but as it stands no, sorry.

Oh!

I really like it! I'd rather think it is to be pronounced kinda like '"AAWR" or "OAR" or soemthing like that. But if you like that one maybe you also like "Laure" (pronounced LOR)? :-)
