There were a lot that stood out to me as NOT being trendy. Britney has been declining sharply over the past few years, for example. Jen and Ricki seem similarly dated and unpopular, and I've never heard of anyone named Char, unless it was a nickname for Charlotte - Charlotte on the other hand, could be considered 'trendy'.

Many of the boys' names (Alec, Bradley, Neil, Olaf, etc.) have either been declining, holding pretty much steady, or haven't even been in the top 1000 for years. 'Ellery' could be considered trendy, but likely on a girl rather than a boy (the same could be said for Harley and Harper).

Whoever wrote this list seems a bit out of touch.

Some are not trendy to me at all, and Hannah is just something that has ALWAYS been popular, it is not "trendy".

I don't really see Levi, Simon, or Warren as "trendy" at all. The rest you could make a case for, but these aren't the ones I'd list as "trendy"
