aHA! That's what I thought. And I totally figured out that nn means nickname and prn means pronounced and WDYT? means What do you think? Except that whenever I see that, I read it as WHAT DO YOU THINK!!!

Nathaniel is my #1 choice for boys name ever.

I don't mind Jeremiah, but it's been ruined for me by a bratty five year old. And 7th Heaven killed Simon for me, even though that's a lovely name.

There were actually a couple of names on the Biblical list that I like that I did not know were Biblical. Then there were ones that I did like that I knew were. Noah and Sam are two of my top boy names.

I was going to be a Seamus, if I was a boy. My dad's uber proud of the Irish heritage. It's on my list; I'd like to use it.

Biblical names are my favourite too. :)

The book is called "Beyond Jennifer & Jason, Madison & Montana: What To Name Your Baby Now" by Linda Rosenkrantz and Pamela Redmond Satran. There was another one from the 80s called just Beyond Jennifer & Jason (it helped name ME!) and this is the more recent one. It's great. I like seeing the names in lists like this. It makes them easier to imagine on an actual human, contrary to the usual baby names books where it's every name imaginable, some legit, some not, in alphabetical order.
