that's funny, giving a dalmation a middle name! as i said, we're not totally sold on patrick as a middle name. but i love quinn, because it's kind of original.
Quinn is a name on our list for a girl but I also love it for a boy. The only thing is...everytime Jeff (SO) says it...he says it like Quinn's friend on Daria...Quinnnnnnn
people keep saying "quinn from daria" but i have no idea what that is! i just googled it, and it turns out it's an mtv thing. we don't have mtv here in canada.
I really like the name Quinn (it's more of a boy's name here in Ireland) and it would be in my shortlist except that i work for a company called Quinn's!!!!
we are very limited in terms of names, because of our last name. it's lytle (pronounced LITE-UL). it's difficult to find a name that has a nice ring to it. so far i'm getting great feedback on quinn!!
I think it's a good name. I've never heard it as a girls' name - if I didn't read it here, I would never even think of it.
Do you remember a show called "Sliders" from a few years ago? Where a bunch of people travelled to parallel universes? I loved that show when I was in high school :) The main character, played by Jerry O'Connell, was named Quinn. I always think of that show when I hear that name. It's not a bad association :)
a few people have said that they think of it more as a girl's name. but the thing is, technically, it's a boy's name. i've checked it on a few websites, and in our baby name book, and it is listed as a boy's name. but, with the prevalance of unisex names nowadays, i wouldn't be so upset if our boy came home and said he knew another quinn who was a girl. that wouldn't be so bad!
I like the name. I've never heard of it for a girl, but apparently i'm missing out on some pop culture references? The only thing it makes me think of is "Quinn the Eskimo".

Quinn Alexander Lytle
Quinn Sebastian Lytle
Quinn Alistair Lytle
Quinn Elliott Lytle
I was thinking along the lines of- you'd probably want a more common, usual middle name.

Isn't Quinn short for either Quincy or Quintin?
