I went shopping at a couple of places today and the names of two of the people who were working there caught my eye. The first is...well...interesting. The second I don't understand at all. I didn't ask if it was still pronounced like Stephanie or if it was pronounced Stephen-eye. I wish I would have, though.

Corrinthians and Stephanye.

WHATTTT?

Corinth - fine, it's a place name, use it if you have to. Corinthian - already gone too far, using a name to describe a person/nationality. Corinthians - ridiculous - not only as mentioned previously, but PLURAL?

Then to misspell it - Corrinthians -- I'm speechless.

I know there are books in the bible called 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians... but man, I'm glad my name isn't a misspelled reference.

Stephanye looks like it should be pronounced stuh-FAWN-yay, rhyming with Kanye.
