Amélie, however, is not Ah-meh-lee, that would sound like someone with a cold :P although again, in the anglophone accent, it all sounds pretty much the same.

I do like it with the accent, but I think it's a bit hard to give a child a name with an accent in it if they live in an English speaking country though.
