I dont know, but I think it's over the top.
Maybe to name your kid that, and call her Tori or Elle or something, but he called her Victorielle, and it was just a bit much.

Date: 2006-02-12 02:48 am (UTC)A mum, a daughter who would've been about 9 or 10, and a much younger daughter (3 or 4) were in a shoe shop, and the mum and older daughter kept referring to the little one as Siggy. Interested in names as I am, I tried to figure it out, and thought - oh, it's probably short for Sigrid or Sigourney...
Then later I could swear that I heard them call her Cigarette! :O
oh how I hope i misheard.
