Now that I could have my baby any day....

We've come to a decision on a girl's name:
Juliet Adelaide Slatosky
So, with our time getting short- give me all you've got on our name! :-) Obviously not on the last name, not much we can do about that ;-)

Aww, I think it's really cute! I love Juliet, and Adelaide is nice enough, too :)

Congratulations! :D

How do you pronounce Adelaide? Ada-lay or ada-laid?

Have you never come across the name Adelaide before??

(shame I can't convey tone of voice by text- this isn't meant to be a snipey or patronising question! I'm just really curious and kind of surprised because to me, it's like asking "How do you pronounce Rebecca?" or something, and I'm just curious as to whether you've actually never heard the name, or whether you've heard it pronounced many ways or what)

I love Juliet. I don't like Adelaide but that's just because I used to really dislike someone I know with the name. And I think it's really cool how the initials spell JAS, so that could be a nickname for her.

it's not my style at all,but I still like it! It's different but still so sweet sounding. I really like how it flows when you say it- even with the funky last name :) though I want to give her the nickname Lemonaide :) I'm just mean that way.

Both names are gorgeous separately and go together well also.

I agree. I love Adelaide though, and will probably use it as a first name some day. As long as you don't live in Australia, I think it is a fine choice. :)

I love it! My number one choice for a name if I ever have a girl is Juliet. My only complaint about your name choice is that all three names (first, middle, last) have three syllables. Generally with a longer first and last name I'd pick a one syllable middle - at most two syllables. But I'm very nit-picky about that. Really, it sounds nice. And FWIW, my son's first, middle, and last all have two syllables. I loved the name too much to change it because of the syllable issue. :)

I like it. I've started to like Adelaide since I joined this community. I think it's very cute but not young.

I like it, and believe it or not I actually went to school with a Juliet who had a last name very similar to yours and so it makes me think of her... and obviously to me, I can see that it works in real life :)

It's a nice name. I like Adelaide just loads better than Juliet though. I personally think that that would be the prettier first name.

I'm not that fond of Juliet on it's own but I think that it fits really well with the rest of the name. It's really beautiful :>) And flows very well, too, I think!
