I gave Raiden points for trying to go the usual -aden route but trying to be original and almost kind of making it. well, ok, negative points for using a -aden name, but points for at least picking a new first letter.

Heck, I made a list of all the two syllable names with a stressed AY sound in the first syllable back in 1997 (using the data from all the babies born in Oregon in the previous year). Rhymes-with-Aidan is not a new trend at all. :-S

You know what, I normally hate the name Aiden (I like Hayden and Brayden, though), but spelt Ayden (I knew someone with this spelling) or Aden, I actually don't mind it.

Nothing will ever made me like Caden/Kayden/Caiden etc. That is a horrible name.

I must be in the minority, but I love Hayden, Aiden and Caden, but only spelled those ways. And I would probably use Hayden before any of the other two.

I love them too (except Hayden), but I'd spell Aidan with two a's vs. one a and one e, and I pair it with Michael (Aidan Michael or Caden Michael).

I watched that show on the Quints With Horrible Names, and OMG, I felt so bad for them. They are these cute, bright, perfect little boys and girls with these awful names, or at least awful spellings...poor wee things.
