For your info:
Jacob is my cousin's name. I want that to be my son's middle name, or else my husband's name as my son's middle name.
Joanna was my grandma, Janice is my aunt, and Constance is my mother. So same deal as Jacob-I want my daughter's middle name to have meaning.

Oh, and I'm not pregnant and won't be for a looooong time, but I thought it would be fun.

Any specific comments on the names can be posted here. I'd love to hear them. :)

I really dislike the nns Wim and Bean. My favorites are William Iilas and William Ryan... nickname Will.

girls:
I don't like Telsa(Tulsa?) or Evangeline(Evangelical?). I like Constance a lot... especially for a mn. I like Adelaide paired with it... and prefer the nn Addie. Olivia Constance is simply beautiful and it's definitely my favorite by far. Love the nn Liv, too.

I understand. I love the name Olivia, but it is wayyyy too common these days. I am a Nicole, so I understand the annoyance of having an overly common name, and don't really see myself doing the same to my daughter.

i don't get a lot of your nicknames..like wim or bean. i think william and sawyer are such nice names. why give them a nickname?

Just cute family nicknames. Like I am Nicole, and no one calls me anything but Nicole because my dad (who I am named after, Nicholas) would freak if anyone called me Nikki, for example, but my mom's family calls me Cole or my mom calls me Pumpkin.

Bean would be from Soybean, and Wim...I just think it is a different nn for William. I would want other people to call them by their full first names, however.

But those are names that you would call him at home, not at school/with his friends. I'd make that clear in your post because otherwise people will vote against the names because of the nicknames (as I did) because Bean and Wim are awful, whereas Will or Ada is nice.

I realize that it's not as bad as a lot of the names that get posted here, but that doesn't mean I can't think it's horrid. You asked for our comments, and I gave you mine.

For the record, I think it's horrid because both names start with J and end with -na. They're way too similar, much like Kara Kayla or some other combination.

Out of your boys' names, my favorites are Noah and William. Ryan and JAcob are both great middles, I don't really like Ilias at all and Quinlan just doesn't sound good with Noah but it isn't a bad name.

For the girls, I like Evangeline, Jenna, Olivia, and out of the middles, I tend to favor Constance over Joanna and Janice.
