What do you think of the names:

Tifa - is it a nn for something?
Atlanta
Bailey

I really dislike the first two, but think Bailey is cute. :)

Edit: Tifa IS a nn for Tiffany. :)

Tifa- I'd assume a nn for Tiffany.
Atlanta- I live there, I wouldn't name my kid that.
Bailey- It's cute.

Tifa is from one of the Final Fantasy video games. I am so not a fan. Of the name, anyway.

Hate Atlanta. Generally I can deal with most place names, but...ech.

Bailey is cute, though I have a hard time picturing it on an adult.

All of them are hideous. Bailey never fails to remind me of the word 'bile', and it ages really badly.

Tifa is from Final Fantasy...

Bailey - there's nothing worse than naming your kid after an alcoholic beverage, in my opinion. That, and I can't picture it on a grown woman.

Ooooh, see, I knew a girl named Bailey growing up, so I always just assume girl's name, haha.

I think it makes a better girls name than boys name anyway :)

I wouldn't ever use it though.

Atalanta, with an extra 'a', is a name from Greek mythology (the second 'a' isn't stressed in pronunciation, so it sounds very similar to Atlanta).

I've known at least two girls in the UK called Atalanta - it's not especially unusual, but I'd say it's confined to the upper section of society, in the same genre as Pandora or Petronella.

I would have hated the name Tifa, but since I've played FFVII a lot, the name's grown on me.

I don't like Atlanta or Bailey at all.

Tifa is also a likely nn for Latifa (moreso than Tiffany, I'd think).
