Date: 2008-06-19 07:50 pm (UTC)Britni-I really can't stand names that just end in "i." They always look unfinished to me. Reminds me of a line from the movie "Where the Heart Is." When Natalie Portman's character is discussing naming her baby girl "Tiffani, with an I." and the other character says, "Oh, honey! Don't you dare do that to your baby!" or something like that! lol I soo wish I could say that to some people. ::sigh::

Date: 2008-06-20 07:58 am (UTC)I don't like Bryana, especially if it's meant to be pronounced like Brianna. I remember once maybe about 6 months ago or so, somebody came on here adamant that their daughter's name would be spelled Bryanna pronounced bree-anna... and for some reason, out of all the people who come on here insisting things, this one really really annoyed me to the point that I still remember it and now find Bryana a really annoying name. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe just because if I posted for opinions and got unanimous feedback saying that my spelling does not lead to my expected pronunciation, then I would be concerned, not dig my heels in more and insist that I'm right. But oh well..... this is probably a bit of a dangerous tangent to be going off on lol
