I really don't know anymore! I do think of it as short for Andrew.... but the only times I've heard of it as a complete name in and of itself, it was on a girl.

I babysit a trio of siblings named Parker, Brady, and Drew. Everyone always thinks Parker is the girl, but it's Drew. So would I.
