Addison Spencer- Cute, but incredibly trendy and popular. If you don't mind your daughter sharing her name with 619,075 other people, then go ahead and use it. I'm not fond of Spencer on girls at all, but it works well with Addison.
Clinton James- I like this name. Could be an issue with the political association, but I, for one, don't mind it at all.
I like Addison a lot for a girl, but I think two traditionally male names for a girl is a bit much. I love Spencer for a boy, though. I love James, but not a fan of Clinton. I mean, I like the Clintons and all, but as a name it doesn't do it for me.
Addison Spencer is terrible. Both names are incredibly trendy, and both are unisex. Addison is definitely the Krystal of the 2000s... it's going to look incredibly tacky and dated in 15 - 20 years.
It's an American WE LOVE GREY'S ANATOMY!!! thing. I love Grey's Anatomy, and that character, too, but it's still a horrendous name. And it used to be uncommon here, too, for good reason, until Grey's Anatomy.
But yeah. It's also the name of a disease. There's a reason it's uncommon every place but the US.
I hope it stays that way. I'm sorry, it's just one of the ugliest names I've ever heard. The only reason it's popular is because of a TV show. It's also the name of a disease.
I don't mind Clinton, and I love James. Addison Spencer is just awful for a girl. To me, both Addison and Spencer are firmly in the boy camp. I can see the argument for Addison, as it is terribly trendy for girls, but Spencer is a thousand percent boy. If you're going to use a unisex name, definitely make sure the other name is distinctly the correct sex. Addison Spencer is a great name for a boy, Addison Claire or Addison Katherine make fine girl's names.
I'm not a big fan of Addison Spencer; I guess Spencer is not that bad, and I don't mind boys names on girls, but I don't really like Addison at all.
Clinton James-- I really like this. But I may be biased because I actually have a friend named Clinton James. Sometimes I call him CJ... heh, because I think that's a cute nn. But he says he gets a fair amount of people who bring up politics when they meet him, though-- I don't know if that bothers you, but it something to think about.
