I'm re-reading the Lovely Bones for the second time (holy amazing book) and I only started thinking about Susie as a name now.

I actually am really starting to like it, but I don't think many of you will. Regardless, I appreciate your opinions. :)

Susie as a full name seems strange to me, but Susie as a nickname for, say, Susanne, is really cute to me...although I'd probably end up calling her Susie-Q more often than not, to be lame and honest.

I think it's a really cute nickname for, say, Susannah. I can't really see it as a full name. But it's really cute :)

I like it as a nn for Susan or Susanne.

Not as a full name -- it's way way way too childish/nickname-y for a full name. Susannah or Susan or Suzanne or something, but not just Susie.

I like it, but only as a nickname. It's way too informal to work on its own. But it could be a nickname for Susanna, Susan, or Suzanne.

I just re-read The Lovely Bones and spent about an hour crying..

I like Susanna, not a massive fan of Susie, but it's quite sweet I suppose.

I like it as a nickname for Susan, but if I ever used the name Susan I don't think I'd use a nickname since I like the whole name so much.

I think it's sweet, and a very good book!

It's funny, because I'm usually all for naming kids the nickname, if that's actually what you're going to call them; I'm against naming kids something if you have every intention of calling them something else, but Susie doesn't even seem like a name. I can't see it going very well into adulthood. And I just don't like the sound of it.

I like Susan and Susanna... Suzanne is ok... and Susie is alright as a nickname, kind of cute, but not my favourite.
