My little sister just had her big annual dance recital. Here are the names from the program. I've tried to create peer groups, but tried to have each student appear only once. In other words, my sister, Sarah A., was in four routines, but only appears on this list once, and though she may not have danced with Joanna A., people that she danced with danced with her, so they're all together. Ish.

For demographic information, because I am always curious, these students would be from a fairly affluent area in Massachusetts, and are mostly White, then Asian, with only a few Latina/o or Black students. Almost all of the students are female.

I'm more concerned about Jameson! I don't remember all of them, but there were only a handful of boys, and most of them were part of a special troupe that I haven't typed up yet. I think Aidan is a girl.

Oh, right, that was the other one I was thinking of! I knew there was another, but when I went back through I didn't see it -- just Skyler, which also made me think wtf? but I've heard it on girls a few times and I hate it on both.

Oh man, it's even worse spelt "Schuyler". I always have a hard time figuring out what they're trying to communicate with that one.

Schuyler is actually a last name, which is what's so funny to me. Like, not only is it a last name, but it's a total butchering of the first name THAT'S PRONOUNCED THE SAME.

That's why I hate misspellings so much. If it's pronounced the same, does Ryleigh actually get differentiated from Riley on the playground? NO!

Haha, I'm the opposite. The first Skyler I ever met was a girl, so when I met a male Skyler I was weirded out (interestingly, they both had the same last name). I like it on girls but I hate it on boys.
