ugh did she really? i was hoping she wouldn't, honor warren sounds awful and marie sounds like filler.

she should have come to baby_names for advice first.

I kind of like Honor... but it's kind of ruined by 'Marie'.

Jessica's middle name is Marie.
i think she did well for a celebrity..

If there's some meaning behind Marie, then it makes sense.

And I totally agree, she did well for a celebrity.

I assume she's Jessica Marie, the filler middle name must be family.

I don't mind Honor, infact I like a few virtue names;

Amity
Hope
Felicity
Serenity
Temperance
Verity

It does sound a bit silly with the surname though, Honor Warren..

Honestly I think it's pretty nice for a celebrity name. I mean, Scout, Apple, Moses, Audio Science, Pilot Inspektor, I mean... I could go on!

Moxie Crimefighter is my favorite one. Just rolls off the tongue.

She pretty much has to go into law enforcement, though. :(

I like Honor, I've thought of it as my guilty pleasure for awhile now. Marie is kinda dull though.

I'm not fond of it, but as far as celebrity baby names go, she lucked out.

i don't mind Honor.

Ugh. So what will the next kid be named - Privledge?

Or perhaps the correct spelling - Privilege.

It bothers me because we spell it Honour in Canada so it just looks wrong.

i don't see why everybody thinks it's so bad! but then again, everyone in this community seems to love "anais" and "violet" and i hate those names.

"marie" does sound filler, but if it has special meaning then it's not so bad. i don't think "honor" is bad at all (i actually kind of knew a girl named "honore" in high school), although i think her reasoning behind the name honor is lolworthy.

I actually think that it's pretty. I think that yes, even though they are American, Honour would be a bit prettier.

I like it. Not to strange or out there, but unique enough to go with their lifestyle. The only negative for me is there's not really a nickname opportunity (although I know most people rejoice over that :P)

ugh horrible. what's weird too is that for some reason I thought she was going to give her a relatively normal name. not sure why.

Date: 2008-06-10 01:35 am (UTC)

Honor

I have a friend with that same name and always liked it. I'm not sure I would have reacted as positively had I not "experienced" it. All in all, it's a big name to live up to.

I find it tacky, but it's definitely not as bad as what some other celebrities name their children.
