Recently my friends and I seem to have had a baby boom
and here is a list of the names (that i can remember off the top of my head)

Alexander Joseph (Alex)

Twins-- Joseph Whitmire (Whit) and Benjamin Parker (goes by Parker)-- pet peeve!!!!

Brandon Warren

Carter John- Reminds of ER war too much. i don't care for surnames as first names
Alexander Joseph (Alex)- I know an Alexander Joseph, he is lovely, as is his name
Layla Simone- Don't like it personally, I find Layla lacking in something but at least it's realy.
Sebastian Nicholas- LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. mmkay i think you get it.
Scott Emerson (my son)- Afraid I don't really like either name. Scott seems bland to me, and Emerson is one of those surnamey/unisex names I just cringe at.
Caylin Daniel (F)- What? Caylin is so blah and will fall into the backgrond, and daniel is a boys name. The only positive thing I have to say, at least it's a C not a K.
Nolan Adam- Okay, not great, not bad.
Jenna Mae- Very dated, very boring
Sophia Evelyn (sophie)- Beautiful.
Twins-- Joseph Whitmire (Whit) and Benjamin Parker (goes by parker) - i'm with you on the pet peeve. Joseph & benjamin make a fantastic twin combo, why did they have to ruin it by using middle names that aren't even real names as first names. Argh.
Kaleb Alexander- Would have been great if it was Caleb. Kaleb is horrible.
Peighton Savannah- Disgustingly trendy and a horrible horrible spelling. Shoot this mommeigh.
Brandon Warren- Meh, both names bore me.

well if it makes you feel better I dont like Scott either haha. my husband insisted it for his first son. and Emerson means "son of emery" which was my maiden name :)
and i agree with you on Kaleb.. ugh
and the mother of Brandon Warren, doesnt like either name either, but it was their son and most likely only son and the father wanted to name him..

Wow, i would not let anyone insist on naming my child if I didn't like the name, didn't it bother you slightly?

Peighton Savannah is terrible. I like the name Nolan, but not with Adam. The rest really don't move me either way.

naming a child something and then "making" them go by their middle name. if you like that name then make it a first name!!! and then later on it can be their choice of what they want to go by

Benjamin Parker- I wouldn't call him Parker.
Kaleb Alexander- Meh.
Peighton Savannah- Don't like it.
Brandon Warren- Like it, not a fave though.

The only ones I don't like are Peighton, Kaleb, and Caylin Daniel. Brandon and Warren are a little too similar, and I really like Layla Simone and Alexander Joseph.

I like Layla, Sebastian Nicholas, Emerson, Sophia (or Sophie), Joseph, Benjamin, and Alexander.

I don't like it when kids are called by their middle names because their parents just decided, "Oh well they're going to go by their middle name". Why not give it to them as a first name? If you decide to go by your middle name when you're older, that's slightly different, I think.
