Flower/Plant names?
Jun. 8th, 2008 04:55 amMy nieces are Lily (Lillian Catherine) and Rose (Rosaleigh Aurora Louise). I just saw the Sex and the City movie, and Lily and Rose were names used in that movie too! Back when the girls' mother was pregnant, they talked about flower names-my cousin wanted Magnolia/Maggie. I pushed for Laurel or Violet, but no one listens to me. :P Anyways, I was just curious as to what everyone thought of these flower/plant names:

For boys, I only like Oliver and Ross, which I didn't know was a plant, but now that I know I like it even more! (I guess I'm more hippie than I'd admit :P)

Oh, and Oleander is my favourite plant/flower...so I like that as a guilty pleasure for a boy.

Date: 2008-06-08 03:19 pm (UTC)The only ones I don't like for girls are Angelica, Holly, Jasmine, Myrtle and Oleander, and none of those are dislike of the name, just personal reasons. But not too keen on the boys names except I love Asher.
Your mood theme is wonderful.
