Baby names
Jun. 7th, 2008 01:39 pmWe have 6 weeks to go and no name yet, though each of us have a favorite. (different favorites of course!)
The middle name will either be Marie or Catherine, after my late grandmother.

And if anyone has any suggestions they are welcome, I think you can see by the list that we like more traditional names...and I'm trying to stay away from anything trendy. And I despise creative spellings. :)
Thanks!
EDIT: what is the most common spelling of "Annalise"?

Charlotte Marie
Annalise Marie
I don't really like Catherine with any of your first name choices. It's too much of a mouthful I feel. If you want to use such a long middle name, a shorter first name would work better, in my opinion.

Date: 2008-06-07 06:32 pm (UTC)I love a lot of your names. Meredith is way too Grey's Anatomy for my tastes, and I'm not a huge fan of Melanie or Caitlin, but I think Nora(h) Catherine or Annalise Marie would be gorgeous.
(I like Norah better, but Nora is fine, too. I just like the h.)

Date: 2008-06-07 08:24 pm (UTC)Nora (although I prefer Norah) It sounds nice with either middle name.
Meredith Catherine
Annalise either mn
Melanie and Caitlin are very dated to me (a child of the 80s).
Allison and Charlotte are nice, but I don't love them.

Date: 2008-06-08 03:59 am (UTC)- I think Nora is the only first name that will work with Catherine, the rest are too long.
