So I was wondering if everyone could do some family research and find out their grendparents and great grandparents first and middle names for me.

Mercedes is a legit ethnic name. I doubt the folks in the Naughties were naming their daughters after the automobile.

The name was there before the automobile.

Mr. Benz named his first car after his eldest daughter Mercedes.

Believe me, I'm from Germany...
