My friend is going to visit her new baby cousin this weekend so of course I asked what his name was:

Barrot Daushin

I'm totally not sure on the exact spelling, tell me if you know the names and I'll edit the post spelling them correctly lol. Barrot rhymes with Parrot and Daushin is pronounced Daw-shin. I've never heard either of those names before and we both agreed we didn't like it. WDYT?

barrett is the last name of the mayor of my city, and also a very good friend of mine. its wierd to see it as a first name.

No it's not Dawson. Similar but it was definitely a "shin" instead of "son" ending.

If either parent is a gamer.. "Barret" and "Doshin" can both be considered game-related names. But that could be (and probably is) just a coincidence.

There is (was?) an actor, by the name of Barret..

I'd say I rather like Barret myself, but that's probably just because I'm a nerd. Not too fond of Daushin, though.

Daushin is ridiculous but luckily middle names can always be hidden.
