I really hate the rough, harsh appearance of the name Leigh already, although I can tolerate that spelling when Leigh is a standalone name. I just really don't like it when people choose a Leigh variant when there is another spelling they could have used, e.g. Ashleigh rather than Ashley etc. It's just a personal preference thing in those instances - I realise that Leigh is perfectly legitimate in those cases.
But Nataleigh goes right over the edge. The "lie" in Natalie has nothing to do with the name "leigh", and I find Natalie to be quite nice... :(
