What would you have been named if you weren't named what you were named?

Or, to be less dense, what other names did your parents consider for you and your siblings?

I am: Misty Lynn.

I could have been:
Joee (yuck - one of mom's top choices)
Brandee (yuck - ditto)
Daphne (meh - mom overruled because she didn't want me to be called Daffy)
Tiffany (yuck - ditto above, but Tiffy)
Scott Anthony (if I had been a boy) - (meh. Not horrible, but not great)

My sister is: Summer Lynn

She could have been:
Joshua Ray (yuck) (Ray was after her father) - this is now my cousin's name

I'm Julianne Sarah.

I'm not sure about middle names, but I know she was considering naming me Jessica (thankfully she never! Wayy too popular). She changed her mind when her neighbour at the time had a baby girl and named HER Jessica. She was also going to name me Crystal, but my cousin named her daughter Crystal, and she was also considering Cassandra. But when she had me, all those thoughts flew out the window and she decided to name me after her mother, whose first and middle names were Julia Ann. She was debating between Julianne and Julianna, but she decided Julianne after because she thought Julianna sounded a bit too overdone. (Interesting fact: my middle name is from my other grandma, so basically I'm named after both my Nan's :D)

For my sister, I don't know any other names she had picked out except Christine and Christina. She asked me if I wanted to decide (I was about 6 or so at the time) and I decided Christina. (That was the one they liked better, anyway).
