May. 28th, 2008 08:49 amIf I'm having a girl, I've been thinking more and more about the name Cora. WDYT?
Also, she'd be younger sister to Cressa. Are the names too close?
Obviously they're both "C" names, which I'm not sure about (I hate when families stick with one letter only, but if I had another, I wouldn't follow the pattern, probably). So, regardless of them both being "C" names, do they work ok together?

Date: 2008-05-28 11:54 pm (UTC)There's a Neil Gaiman book called Coraline, and I hear that in my head as "Cora-leen" because that seems to be a more British pronounciation.
I think I like the long "i" sound better.
My husband desperately wants to name our baby Glencora (after Trollope's Palliser novels). It's a very old Scots name. I like it too, but one of the collies already has that name!
